Builder grade 6 - 8 mil (budget installs/rental flips/low traffic rooms and not recommended for families/pets or heavy traffic)
12 mil is standard residential grade and entry level for moderate traffic for guest rooms
20mil is for residential homes kids and families, pets and high traffic areas and is considered light commenrcial
Anything over 20mil is commercial grade for offices, retail spaces, restaurants very high traffic areas. However, 30mil and above is hotels, medical offices etc.
SPC
Its waterproof which is why SPC performs well in Florida humidity. It handles temperature swings better as its tough with some flexibility
